Introduction
It has been roughly 3 weeks since the 5th edition of Godded Seed Confab was held in Port Harcourt empowering thousands of young people all over Nigeria across all industries. But memories from the event have remained fresh in the minds of participants.
Godded Seed
Godded Seed Community is a fast-growing community of young people who are change-driven, with a focus on social innovations, capacity building, leadership development and societal transformation. They have over 12 thousand members and physical operations in five states of Nigeria (Abuja, Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Imo states).
The operations includes a library building for a remote community to access education, free skills empowerment training for young people, outreaches to schools in local communities, and underprivileged children in paediatric hospitals, streets & hoods.
The Godded Seed Confab
Every year they host a national conference which is a full-day hybrid event featuring free skill acquisition and business training in the morning session, and leadership development and talent exhibitions in the evening.
This year’s skill acquisition training was centred around Artificial Intelligence and digital skills. The goal is to help Nigerian youths adapt and thrive in a time of technological disruptions amidst the advent of Industry 5.0 across all sectors.
The Original
Every year a special theme is chosen to depict the central focus. For 2023, the theme was THE ORIGINAL
The goal was to inspire people to leverage AI and technology to better themselves and their vision as well as stay authentic and build from their unique selves.
According to the convener, Dunamis Shiloh Okonwor, “We want to inspire people who are original in what they do and the results they produce and ultimately people who are victims of technological disruption but are thriving with it.”

Convener
The Godded Seed Confab is organised and convened by Dunamis Shiloh Okonwor.
Mr Okonwor is a Strategic Brand Communications Expert, Management Strategy Consultant, and Social Leader who helps brands get known & increase profit through results-driven MARKETING and branding strategies. He has also been involved in the implementation process as Growth Manager, Marketing Manager, Branding Executive and Project Manager for top brands in Nigeria.
Dunamis Shiloh believes life’s vision is to see Africans rise beyond the smallness of their skin colour and commit to solving global problems, changing the world and transforming the African continent through business and social entrepreneurship.
He is the President and Founder of Godded Seed Community, a Strategy Consultant with Dunamis Shiloh Consulting and a branding executive with PromptEarn.
Every year, he hosts Godded Seed Confab which is a youth capacity building conference and free skill Empowerment program with over 1000 delegates across industries and sectors all over Nigeria. He also hosts other socially and economically relevant events in and outside Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
