The young female Port Harcourt author and rising Motivational Speaker, Delight Moses, 8, made the charge during the launch of her book, “The Mirror of a Girl Child” on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.
Delight in her address said, as the title suggests, the book is to act as a guide to helping the girl child (especially) become the true version of herself irrespective of whatever narrative the society may have about her.
The book launch event had in attendance some notable personalities in Port Harcourt like Honey Ojukwu (an OAP with Cool FM, PH), Dr. Ella Chioma Ezeadilieje (AKA Veronica’s Daughter), John Best UCHE popularly referred to as “The Social Voice” (one of Port Harcourt’s finest Voice-Over Artist and Compere), Tonye Briggs (Founder, Port Harcourt in Pictures), Coach Nelly, MC Duncan, Raphael Ben amongst.
The book reviewer…said the book is a must read by every young girl child. She commended the effort of the young author, Delight and said her subsequent works can only be better.
Delight Moses, 8, is a pupil of Elliot Mary High School in her primary grade 4.
